DEAD BODIES RECOVERED: Randy Adams and Alvin Leitch

Search parties on Monday morning fished the bodies of 31-Year-old Alvin Leitch called Spanish Boss and 43-Year-old Randy Adams called ‘Addi’, a businessman of Bartica from the Essequibo River.

The two men were among ten passengers on a boat from Parikia to Bartica which crashed into a damaged Beacon on Saturday causing the boat to take in water and consequently sank.

Information reaching BIG Smith News Watch suggests that the bodies of the men were recovered in the general Calf Island area where the mishap occurred last Saturday.

Popular Disc Jockey Darrel Romeo called ‘Magnum’ was among the passengers on the boat Saturday and is among the persons who managed to make it to safety.

The police were still trying to determine if all the passengers on the boat at the time were wearing their life jackets.

Both of the men whose bodies were fished out of the river Monday morning, leave to mourn their families including children.
