Mother feeds her 5-Y-O poison after misunderstanding with ex-husband

ON HER HOSPITAL BED: Shemeeza Nazir

31-Year-Old Shemeeza Nazir of Crabwood Creek, Corentyne Berbice, is under heavy police guard at the Skeldon Public Hospital being treated for poison ingestion. Her 5-Y-O son is also warded at the said hospital and being treated for also consuming poison fed to him by his mother.

BIG Smith News Watch has been informed that on Saturday, just around 08:30hrs, Nazir called ‘Shelly’, had an argument with her ex-husband who resides overseas.

Based on what was communicated to this publication, the two adults reportedly had a misunderstanding over money. When the woman became annoyed, she mixed the poison with a soda and gave it to the child to drink while she also drank some.

After the child drank the poison, he telephoned his father via WhatsApp and told him what his mother did.

A neighbor, accompanied by the former mother-in-law of the woman rushed to the home of the woman and escorted them to the hospital for treatment while also informing the police of what had taken place.

Their conditions were listed as stable based on our sources. The woman had bought the poison recently to do some work around the yard.
