Fire set by Lusignan Prison Inmates rips through facility; no death reported

An inmate of the Lusignan Prison escaped from the facility on Saturday morning.

BIG Smith News Watch has been informed that the inmate who has been on quarantine for COVID-19 managed to get himself out of the quarantine facility and onto the jail fence.

The prisoner whose name, address and offense committed that landed him in jail is not yet known, once on the fence made it out to freedom.

He attempted to escape from the facility by using a motorcycle of a prison staff but that attempt was aborted after security at prison open fire on him on suspicion that he was a civilian attempting to seal a motorcycle.

The prisoners then dropped the bike and ran away, and up to press time, remains at large.
