Two Guyanese men are reported missing in Antigua and Barbuda waters after the fishing vessel on which they were sailing, failed to return to shore on Thursday June 24, 2021.

The men’s names were given as Lester Small and the Captain of the boat Leon Sears.

According to the Antigua News Room, the fishing vessel named EDEN with registration number V2-1462SH, is a light blue, 25-foot pirogue with a single Yamaha 50 horsepower 4-stroke engine.

Rescue teams have been dispatched to locate the vessel. Relatives are pleading for more effort to be put into the search from other nearby islands to locate the vessel.
