A team of Cabinet members conducted a walk-through of Sophia, Georgetown, to inspect bridges, footpaths and drainage networks.

The team comprised of Minister within the Ministry of Housing and Water Susan Rodrigues, Minister of Public Works Bishop Juan Edghill, Minister of Tourism, Industry and Commerce Oneidge Walrond and Minister within the Office of the Prime Minister, Kwame McCoy.

Constituency Five Candidate for Local Government Elections, Mr. Andre Jackman and engineers from the Public Works Ministry were also present.

The inspection, which is in response to concerns raised by residents and councilors, enabled the officials to pinpoint critical areas that require rehabilitation for increased accessibility.

The team visited Farmerโ€™s Field Bridge, Plum Park School Walkway, Mercy Wing Bridges (‘A’ Field) and ‘A’ Field Entrance Bridge, ‘B’ Field Bridge and North Sophia.
