Woman found dead in bath tub
34 year old Court of Appeal employee Olita Shondel Mendez was this morning found dead in her bath tub moments after she went to take a shower.
The incident took place at Vergenoegen, West Coast Demerara.
According to information reaching BIG Smith Crime Watch, the woman was discovered motionless by another relative who realised that she was in the bathroom for a longer period than is normal.
It is suspected that she might have suffered a seizure while taking a shower and reportedly drowned in the bath tub.
A doctor who is said to be her relative and living in the same house along with her sister, who is a nurse, reportedly attempted to revive the woman but his efforts proved futile.
The matter is now being investigated by the police.
