Traffic restrictions announced for CPL watch parties at Kingston Seawall

Motorists are being advised of temporary traffic restrictions along the Kingston Seawall as cricket watch parties and a CPL Village are scheduled to be held on selected dates between August and September.

The events will take place at the Kingston Seawall Esplanade, Georgetown, on August 13, 19 and 23, followed by September 4, 6, 8, 9, 11 and 13.

To facilitate the events, vehicular traffic will only be permitted to travel east along Seawall Road between High Street and Camp Road from 5:30 p.m. on each scheduled date.

Parking will be available for event patrons at the Marriott beachfront and east of Camp Road along the southern parapet of Seawall Road.

Traffic ranks will be deployed in the area to assist with traffic management and maintain the free flow of vehicles.

Motorists travelling from Rabbit Walk will be required to proceed east along Seawall Road.

Members of the public are urged to plan their routes accordingly and exercise caution when travelling through the area during the scheduled events.
