Relief has come for the three Goed Intent Families

Relief has come for the three families at Goed Intent on the West Bank Demerara to alleviate the suffering they have been facing since boxing day in 2022 when their Roof tops were blown off by a freak storm.

Public Works Minister Deodat Indar visited the families on Wednesday morning, one day after this publication reported that from boxing day last, the families have been living and sleeping under the sun, moonlight, dew, and rain.

As a result of the Minister’s visit, roofing works will commence immediately thanks to Gaico Construction, Saul Hardware, and contractor Imraz Hassan.

In the process of the roofs being carried away by the freak storm, the wiring for the homes was disrupted and the Minister has committed to having the homes rewired and recertified.
