Roger Khan sex tape: Woman provides statement denying involvement/talk about abuse
Shaheed Roger Khan
The woman who is accused of leaking the sex tape with Shaheed Roger Khan, has come forward to provide the police with a statement denying any involvement in relation to the leaked video.
The woman in her statement to the police, and which sources within law enforcement have made available to this publication, suggested that while she did share a relationship with Khan prior to him being incarcerated, she has not been involved with him sexually since his return to Guyana last September.
The woman said that she had actually been hiding from Khan for a few months after his return to Guyana, as she was fearful for her life, given threats which were made to her prior to his return.
Last week, Khan made a formal police complaint about a video in which he is seen performing oral sex on a female. Khan named a woman and her associate as being responsible for the leaking of the video, and called on the police cybercrime unit to investigate the development.
One newspaper today reported that a businessman was arrested and placed on bail in connection with the release of the video.
Today, Regional Commander of 4-A Simon McBean when contacted on the matter, told this publication that the businessman was never arrested and that it was in fact a female who came into the police and provided them with a statement in relation to the matter.
In the statement which the woman provided to the police, she alleged that during her relationship with Khan before he was sent to jail for trafficking in narcotics, he was abusive to her, and that given that experience, she has been trying to keep away from him.
She detailed dates and times where those incidents took place, but reiterated that she is in no way associated with, and/or connected to the releasing of any sex tape involving Khan.
The police investigations into the leaked video continues.
