President Dr. Irfaan Ali, accompanied by a team of Cabinet ministers and technical officials from several government ministries, commenced a two-day outreach in Region Seven (Cuyuni-Mazaruni) on Sunday aimed at engaging residents and addressing community concerns.

The outreach, which runs from May 31 to June 1, includes visits to communities such as Jawalla, Karrau, Kamarang and surrounding areas.

During the exercise, residents are being given the opportunity to raise issues affecting their communities directly with government officials, while ministers and technical teams assess concerns and provide updates on ongoing and planned development initiatives.

Among the ministers participating in the outreach are Agriculture Minister Zulfikar Mustapha, Natural Resources Minister Vickram Bharrat, Housing and Water Minister Collin Croal, Minister within the Ministry of Housing and Water Susan Rodrigues, Home Affairs Minister Robeson Benn, Human Services and Social Security Minister Dr. Vindhya Persaud, Culture, Youth and Sport Minister Charles Ramson Jr., and Minister within the Ministry of Culture, Youth and Sport Steven Jacobs, Minister of Public Services Zulfikar Ali, Minister of Legal Affairs Anil Nandlall, along with other government officials.

The outreach forms part of the Government’s continued effort to engage citizens directly and address issues across sectors including infrastructure, housing, agriculture, education, healthcare, social services, and community development.
