Police Discover 22 lbs of Marijuana NA
Police in Regional Division #6 conducted an intelligence-led operation yesterday, leading to the discovery of 22 lbs of marijuana at Bashmin Koker Dam in Angoy’s Avenue, New Amsterdam, Berbice.
During the operation, officers searched the High Dam area and found a bulky black garbage bag containing two transparent plastic bags filled with leaves, seeds, and stems suspected to be cannabis.
The seized cannabis was weighed and amounted to 22 pounds. Further investigations are ongoing.
