Commander Isles handing over a hamper

Christmas is the spirit of giving without a thought of receiving. It is forgetting self and finding time for others.

With that in mind, four East Bank Demerara (EBD) elders were presented with hampers compliments of Police Regional Division 4(B) earlier this week.

Those who benefited were Muriel Griffith, 92, of 208 First Street Mocha EBD; George James Lancaster of 51 First Street Prospect EBD; 80-year-old, Sohdra Paul of 25 Peter’s Hall EBD and 82-year-old Iris Barnwell of 909 Fourth Field Kaneville EBD.

The hampers were distributed by Commander Senior Superintendent L. Isles; Chief Inspector Handy, Inspector Layne, Detective Inspector Frank and Sergeant Savory.
