Minister of Natural Resources Vickram Bharat attended the International Mines Ministers Summit 2024, held annually during the Prospectors and Developers Association of Canada (PDAC) convention.

Canada’s Minister of International Development, Ahmed Hussen visited Guyana’s booth at PDAC 2024. Standing with Minister Hussen is Guyana’s High Commissioner to Canada, Keith George.

The 2024 event focuses on the theme “Striking a Balance for Success: responsible mining and the energy transition.”

PDAC is renowned as the world’s leading mineral exploration and mining conference. This session provides a platform for governments, industry leaders, and civil society representatives to engage in discussions on critical sectoral issues.

Guyana maintains a strong presence at PDAC 2024, the premier mineral exploration and mining convention held annually in Toronto, Canada.

The event spans from March 1st and ends today (March 6).
