Last evening, the Ministry of Housing and Water officially launched its flagship calendar event for 2024: the International Building Expo.

The highly anticipated event, set to take place from August 8th to 11th at the Guyana National Stadium in Providence, will be held under the theme “Building on the Foundation of Sustainability and Unity.”

This year’s expo aims to create a dynamic platform for small, medium, and large companies to showcase a diverse array of housing-related goods and services.

The four-day event will bring the Guyana National Stadium to life with local exhibitors and international partners from around the globe, highlighting innovations and advancements in the housing and infrastructure sectors.

Minister of Housing Collin Croal and Minister within the Ministry of Housing Susan Rodrigues both expressed their enthusiasm for the 2024 expo, predicting it will surpass previous years in scale and impact.

They noted the continued strong support from regional and international partners, emphasizing that this year’s expo is expected to draw significant participation and attention.

Corporate Guyana, contractors, small businesses, and all stakeholders involved in the housing and infrastructure sectors are encouraged to take this opportunity to showcase their work and engage in meaningful networking.

The collaborative efforts at the expo aim to drive the transformation of Guyana’s landscape, fostering growth and development across the nation.
