Co-Director of the Petra Organisation, Troy Mendoca (second left) receives the sponsorship cheque from Lucozade Brand Manager, Christina Beepat in the presence of Divisional Head, Darshanie Yusuf-Abel (extreme right) and Petra member, Troy Peters (extreme left).

Lucozade became the latest sponsor to sign on in support of the KFC Goodwill International School Football Tournament slated for a December 14 kickoff at the Ministry of Education ground.

At the simple handing over ceremony on Thursday morning at ANSA McAL Distribution Inc Beterverwagting headquarters, Co-Director of the Petra Organisation, Troy Mendonca highlighted the significance of the moment.

“Today marks a very significant day in the relationship we would have established with ANSA McAL specifically as it relates to this tournament. ANSA McAL is one of the companies that supported the tournament form the inception and it was built on trust and commitment and I can say to you that I hope we are here for several years to come,” Mendonca stated.

Brand Manager for Lucozade, Christina Beepat, wished the teams well and noted that ANSA McAL through the Lucozade brand was “happy” to be onboard with the tournament.

The tournament will feature a team from Brazil, Trinidad, Jamaica, Suriname and The Bahamas; in addition to three teams from Guyana in Chase Academic Foundation, West Ruimveldt Secondary and Annai Secondary School. Kickoff is slated for December 14.
