Killer Beheaded Victim After Trailing Her from Bar

The cold-blooded killer allegedly stalked and beheaded Paulette Edwards after trailing her from a bar in Port Kaituma.
The horrific details of the young mother’s final moments were revealed in a postmortem, which confirmed that Edwards was still alive when her head was severed.
The 23-year-old mother of three had reportedly visited a bar before the incident. Evidence suggests she was murdered in the same area where her body was discovered.
Police have gathered sufficient evidence to seek legal advice, focusing on the prime suspect, 29-year-old Silos (or Silas) France, Edwards’ partner. France, the father of their one-year-old daughter, turned himself in at the Baramita Police Station on Monday, June 10, following a manhunt.
Reports indicate that Edwards was in an abusive relationship with France. She had traveled from Matthew’s Ridge, North West District, to Port Kaituma in May and was staying with a female relative of the suspect. Edwards was last seen alive on June 4.
Her partially nude and decomposing body, minus the head, was found in a clump of bushes in a swamped area near Cat Walk, Port Kaituma, on Friday, June 7. Police located her head the following day, on Saturday, June 8.
