Guyana Football Fraternity mourns the loss of Leon Sealey Yaw

In a devastating blow to the Guyana football community, Leon Sealey Yaw, the talented goalkeeper of Fruta Conquerors, tragically lost his life last night in a motorcycle accident on Mandela Avenue.

 

The incident involved a collision between two motorcycles, leaving the other rider in critical condition.

 

As news of Yaw’s untimely demise spread, an overwhelming sense of grief and sadness enveloped the entire football fraternity.

 

Yaw was not just a remarkable player but also an individual loved and respected by all who knew him. Known for his exceptional skills, unwavering dedication, and passion for the sport, he had become an indispensable part of the Fruta Conquerors team.
