Ex-cop Yogeendra Sukhdeo on Wednesday led police to his Lot1896 Diamond, EBD home where he and his three accomplices had stashed over $7 that they had stolen from businessman’s son Amit Singh after murdering him.

DEAD: Amit Singh

Police said that $7,790,000 in five dollar bills was recovered.

Amit Devindra Singh of Campbell Avenue, Georgetown, was slain at around 2.15 p.m. on Tuesday, October 23, after four men lured him to a Middle Road, La Penitence house, under the pretext of having gold to sell.

After killing Singh, they wrapped his corpse in a sheet, shut the house and fled with their victim’s cash.

Police arrested Yogeendra Sukhdeo shortly after. He reportedly confessed to his involvement and identified his accomplices, who are still at large
