Beneficiaries of the Core Home Support and Home Improvement Subsidy, under the Adequate Housing and Urban Accessibility Programme can now track the status of their application from start to end with the help of a new mobile app.

The new Core Home Support and Home Improvement Subsidy App is now live on any smart device, following to launch yesterday at the Arthur Chung Conference Centre.

The app will provide an efficient, modernized customer support service to beneficiaries and allows the tracking of applications, payment notification, application approval and scheduling of engagements.

As the Ministry continues to explore and incorporate the use of technology in its service delivery to citizens this is the first such app coming from the agency.

Minister of Housing and Water Collin Croal, Minister within the Ministry of Housing and Water, Susan Rodrigues, Permanent Secretary, Mr. Bishram Kuppen, Chief Executive Officer-CH&PA, Mr. Sherwyn Greaves, IDB Resident Representative, Ms. Lorena Solorzano-Salazar and Mr. Asa Bouret- Director & Development Officer of V75 Company were all present at the event.

The App was made possible under Component Three of the Adequate Housing and Urban Accessibility Program, which speaks to Institutional Strengthening. This secure authentication process ensures that applicants can access their personal Core Home Support and Home Improvement Subsidy application details without any concerns about privacy.

Meanwhile, with the App officially live in the Google Play Store and the Apple Store, five families were today presented the keys to their new Core Homes after being notified via the app that the keys were available, while another six beneficiaries for the Home Improvement Subsidy were notified that delivery of construction materials commenced today.
