Sixty One Year old Campbellville Businessman Andre Gomes called ‘Zipper’ was last evening arrested at his home after agents from the Customs Anti-Narcotics Unit found cocaine at his home.

The cocaine found at ‘Zipper’s’ home

Gomes is no stranger to the law especially for his connection to cocaine.

On Tuesday evening CANU commenced a late night operation at the home of Gomes following intelligence that the man was in possession of narcotics for the purpose of trafficking.

In 2018 he was arrested and remanded to jail for a similar offence but was set free after he was found not guilty during his trial in the lower court.

The CANU operation last evening took place in Craig Street Campbellville, the same location where an operation back in 2018 also saw him being arrested.
