Buxton Man Sentenced to Six Months for Narcotics Possession

Lebert Todd, a 33-year-old construction worker from Lot 3 Middle Walk, Buxton, East Coast Demerara, has been sentenced after pleading guilty to a narcotics trafficking charge.
Todd was arrested on July 20, 2025, and subsequently charged on July 23 with possession of narcotics for the purpose of trafficking.
He appeared before Magistrate Sunil Scarce at the Vigilance Magistrate’s Court, where the charge was formally read to him.
Upon entering a guilty plea, Todd was handed a six-month suspended sentence.
