Birthday boy and best friends killed in West Berbice smashup

ALL DEAD: Three friend with birthday boy Jamal Lynch in the middle

A celebration to ring in his 23rd Birthday ended with his death, that of two of his best friends and others persons on Saturday morning just after 03:00hs.

BIG Smith News Watch has been informed that at the time of the crash in West Berbice, Jamal Lynch of 26 Hopetown was out with his friends as he ushered in his 23rd Birth Anniversary.

Of the accident victims, Lynch is the one who was reportedly burnt to death as the car he and others were in, burst into flames upon impact with another vehicle during the crash.

The Guyana Police Force said it continues to investigate the crash but did release the names of five persons of the six who were killed in the crash.

According to reports, the accident involved three vehicles, a Nissan X Trail, Toyota Corolla and a 192.

At this point, if remains on clair which of the vehicles involved actually caused the crash.

in addition to Lynch, the other victims of the crash named by the police are 29 year old Joel Jacob of Sophia 23 year old Linden Mc Farlane of Bel Air West Coast Berbice, 20 year old Jason Saul of Bel Air WCB and Keanna Dow of Belladrum, WCB

Police Regional Commander 5, Simon told this publication on Saturday morning that the police are still working get some added details as several accounts of what really transpired have been given to the police by those living in close proximity to crash scene.
