GT bus driver feared dead at Linden Blue Lake

FEARED DEAD: Eusi Lindo

A minibus driver from Georgetown who plys the Sophia to Stabroek route is feared dead in Linden Region 10, police sources have confirmed.

BIG Smith News Watch has been informed that Eusi Lindo of 600 Tenth Street Cummings Lodge, East Coast Demerara might have drowned.

We were told that Lindo and a group of persons travelled to Linden earlier today where they hoped to spend an enjoyable day at the Blue Lake before returning to Georgetown.

The individuals went swimming and at some point during the course of their recreation, Lindo who went into the water, went down and did not resurface.

Police sources have indicated that there is an active search party backed up by police at the location combing the water as they search for the so far missing man.
