BREAKING NEWS: Police probes landing of suspicious Chopper in West Demerara

The man who exited the chopper

A man was arrested by public-spirited citizens on the West Coast Demerara after he disembarked a chopper which landed on the Ruimzight Foreshore, West Coast Demerara.

Divisional Commander of Region 3 Simon McBean confirmed to BIG Smith News Watch that indeed a chopper which at this time remains unverified landed at the location and a male exited.

He said that the man was confronted by residents who detained him and then handed him over to the police who are carrying out investigations into the matter at this time.

While the Commander could not say if the man is a Guyanese, sources from the West Demerara have indicated that the man speaks a foreign language.

At this point, there is no indication as to the whereabouts and or registration or origin of the chopper which landed at the location.

Guyanese across the country at this moment are pre-occupied with receiving the results of the just concluded General and Regional Election which so far has most of the nation in an anxious state.
