Elderly woman dies after bee attack at Success

An elderly woman has died following a bee attack at Succes, East Coast Demerara.
The woman, identified as “Aunty Pamma,” was 73 years old.
Follwing the attack, she was rushed to Enmore Hospital, where she succumbed to her injuries a short time later.
Information reaching this publication suggests that the woman had recently travelled to Guyana for vacation and was staying alone at her residence at Success ECD.
Three other persons were also reportedly affected by the same bee attack.
A man is said to have been injured, a child currently at the Woodlands Hospital, while a young woman was taken to the Georgetown Public Hospital Corporation for medical treatment.
Their conditions have not yet been confirmed.
