Driver Charged with Murder of Welder
Orden Griffith, a 47-year-old driver from Lot 38 Lust-en-Rust, West Bank Demerara, has been arrested and charged in connection with the murder of 23-year-old welder Ali Mark Augustine, also of Lust-en-Rust.
The incident occurred on Saturday, August 31, 2024.
Griffith appeared before Magistrate Rhondel Weever at the Wales Magistrate’s Court, where the indictable charge was formally read to him.
He was not required to enter a plea and has been remanded to prison.
The case has been adjourned until October 4, 2024.
