In an exciting match at the Leonora Track and Field, the Guyana Golden Jaguars emerged victorious with a 3-2 win over the Bahamas, securing their unbeaten streak in the CONCACAF league.

The electrifying game showcased stellar performances from Guyana’s rising stars.

Talismanic forward, Omari Glasgow, stole the spotlight with his impressive goal-scoring prowess.

Glasgow, only 19 years old, continues to dazzle fans and critics alike, as he notched up his fourth goal in just two nations league games and an impressive total of 11 goals for the national team, all within 17 appearances.

The match kicked off with Bahamas securing an early penalty which Wood Julmis converted to put the Bahamas team ahead. Glasgow would then make his mark from a corner kick, finding the net and setting the tone for the Golden Jaguars.

However, the Golden Jaguars would then Flex their muscles, with Stephan Duke McKenna adding his name to the scores to extend the lead to 2-1.

The final decisive moment came courtesy of Stephan Duke McKenna, who unleashed a breathtaking screamer, sealing the deal for the Guyanese unit and securing the coveted three points. With this remarkable win, Guyana continues to shine in front of their home crowd, having kept a perfect record in the CONCACAF league 2023-2024.

Glasgow not only showcased his scoring prowess but also provided a crucial assist to Kelsey Benjamin, further highlighting his value to the team.

The Golden Jaguars’ blend of youthful talent and experienced players promises an exciting journey ahead in the world of international soccer.

This victory solidifies Guyana’s position as a team to take seriously in this year’s CONCACAF Nation League Group and their fans can’t wait to see what the future holds for this dynamic squad.
