Paule Slowe reportedly tipped for 'big post' in APNU+AFC

Retired Assistant Commissioner of Police and Former Police Service Commissioner Chairman Paul Slowe is said to be gearing up for a life in politics.

According to sources familiar with conversations being held with at least one senior legal mind in the Peoples National Congress Reform, Slowe has been reportedly asked to make himself available to the party as they seek to prepare for 2025 General and Regional Elections.

Slowe is reportedly negotiating heavy as he seeks to be appointed Minister of Home Affairs should the APNU+AFC takes the seat of government in 2025.

According to our sources, if that does not work out, Slowe has reportedly signaled his intentions to head into Parliament as the point person on Security to replace Geeta Chanda Edmond.

Slowe has been apparently slowly dipping his beak into the political sea with statements that carry political undertones and of recent, taken to the streets in protest as he seeks to softly have a presence on the front line before his official entrance into politics.

His interest in politics was first noted in 2011 when he and former Commissioner of Police Winston Felix led the Nomination Day Parade of the APNU to City Hall.
