Despite the valiant efforts of the emergency responders, they were unable to rescue the trapped family in time.

The lower flat was occupied by the Richardโ€™s family of six, the two older siblings managed to escape the burning building safely, while their mother was at work when the fire started.

Occupants of the upper flat of the house claimed that the fire started from the lower half of the building.
