GPF, youths complete tree planting exercise at Ruimveldt Police Station

Members of the religious and business community, along with children from Albouystown and Ruimveldt Youth groups, community policing group and station management committee members participated today (Saturday, July 30th) in a tree planting exercise at the Ruimveldt Police Station.

The activity is in keeping with the Guyana Police Force’s 183rd-anniversary celebration.

Sergeant Griffith told participants that the activity’s objectives are to create a conducive and enabling environment to achieve the key pillars of the GPF’s strategic plan, one of which is to build partnerships and foster closer relationships with the public.
