Close to two years since the implementation of a curfew to curb the spread of COVID-19, the National Task Force on Friday lifted the restriction with immediate effect.

In a short statement, the task force also noted that all swimming pools are permitted to operate at 50 percent capacity. However, swimmers must be fully vaccinated.

Notwithstanding these relaxations of the Measures, all Guyanese are urged to demonstrate responsible behaviour and extend best wishes tor the upcoming Mashramani Celebrations.
