Driver flees, leaves behind vehicle with over 72lbs of cocaine

Police have seized approximately 72.4 pounds of suspected cocaine from a pickup vehicle along the Ituni Trail.
The seizure occurred around 4:00 p.m. today, when police reportedly encountered the vehicle in the Five Miles, Ituni Trail area.
The driver allegedly exited the vehicle and fled on foot after seeing the police vehicle. He has not yet been apprehended.
Police subsequently searched the vehicle and discovered 30 parcels containing suspected cocaine, weighing approximately 72.4 pounds.
Investigations are ongoing as police continue efforts to locate the driver.
