6-Y-O Chinese National chopped to death at Parika

A six-year-old Chinese national died on Wednesday afternoon following an incident at Parika, East Bank Essequibo.
The child, identified as Ifeng Cao, sustained a chop wound to the neck at around 3:45 p.m. during an incident involving a male Chinese national.
According to police, Cao was rushed to the De Kinderen Regional Hospital, where a doctor pronounced the child dead on arrival.
A male Chinese national has since been taken into custody in connection with the incident.
