Trans Guyana onboard with KFC Goodwill football Tourney

Trans Guyana Airways will be lending their services to the KFC Goodwill International School Football Tournament that is scheduled to kickoff on Sunday, December 14 at the Ministry of Education ground.

Teams will be arriving from Trinidad, The Bahamas, Jamaica, Suriname and Brazil to be part of the tournament.

At a simple ceremony on Thursday, it was announced that Trans Guyana will fly the team from Brazil into Guyana as part of their sponsorship deal with tournament organizers from the Petra Organisation.

Co-director of the Petra Organisation, Troy Mendonca was grateful to Trans Guyana for their support.

“The Petra organization is very please once again to accept support form trans Guyana airways. Ever since we started, they started to bring out teams from region 9 and specially region seven they assisted us and now they are assisting us with the team from Brazil and we are very grateful and thankful for that,” Mendoca stated.

The KFC Goodwill tournament will also have three teams representing Guyana, in defending champs, Chase Academic Foundation, West Ruimveldt and Annai Secondary Schools when action kicks off at the Ministry of Education ground on Sunday from 12:00hrs.
