Commissioner of Police Clifton Hicken has continued his ‘Back-to-School’ initiative, distributing backpacks and school supplies to members of the Guyana Police Force.
The latest distribution took place today in the Commissioner’s Conference Room at Eve Leary, following a similar event held yesterday.
This ongoing initiative is part of Commissioner Hicken’s efforts to support police ranks and their families. Today’s distribution was carried out with the help of several senior officers, including Assistant Commissioner of Operations Errol Watts, Assistant Commissioner Khali Pareshram (Head of the Strategic Planning Unit), Senior Superintendent Jermaine Johnson (Head of the IT Department), and other high-ranking officials.
Among the officers involved in the distribution were Woman Superintendent Nicola Kendall (Head of Strategic Implementation for Police Reform), Woman Superintendent Sonia Herbert (Director of the GPF Academy), Superintendent Bharrat Persaud (Finance Officer), Superintendent Brian Lowenfield (Head of the Tactical Services Unit), and additional senior and junior officers.
Commissioner Hicken’s ‘Back-to-School’ drive underscores his commitment to the well-being of the police force and their families.
The initiative is expected to continue in various communities in the coming weeks, demonstrating Hicken’s dedication to providing support and resources to those under his leadership.
This initiative is not new for Commissioner Hicken, who has consistently shown his commitment to the welfare of the ranks, reinforcing the importance of such supportive measures within the force.
