Three juveniles among four charged for viral robbery attempt at Windsor Forest

Charges against four individuals, including three juveniles, in connection with an incident that occurred at First Lady Park, Windsor Forest, on Sunday, January 25, 2026.

 

The incident was captured on video and widely circulated on social media.

 

Those charged include three juveniles, all residents of Region Three, and 18-year-old Shaquan Straker of Zeelugt, East Bank Essequibo.

 

The four were jointly charged with Attempt to Commit a Misdemeanor.

 

In addition, one of the juveniles and Shaquan Straker were jointly charged with Attempt to Commit a Felony, namely Robbery with Aggravation.

 

On Friday, January 30, 2026, the accused appeared before Magistrate Rabindranauth Singh at the Leonora Magistrate’s Court, where the charges were read to them.

 

All four pleaded not guilty and were granted bail in the sum of $100,000 each.

 

The case has been adjourned to Wednesday, March 18, 2026, as investigations and legal proceedings continue.
