A rep from Supreme Distributors at left stand along with PS Thomas and Senior Cop Brutus for a photo after the handing over of the items

The Guyana Police Force has found a new partner in the company of Supreme Distributors.

The establishment which distributes a variety of commodities today handed over a quantity of sanitisation items to assist police ranks and members of the public to slow the spread of the coronavirus.

60 soap/sanitising Dispensers,15 Gals of anti -bacterial liquid soap and 2000 packs of surgical face masks were handed to the Ministry of Home Affairs with its Permanent Secretary Mae Thomas accepting on behalf of the ministry.

Deputy Commissioner (ag) Calvin Brutus who has responsibility for administration and welfare of the Guyana Police Force and its ranks will oversee the delivery of the items to the intended police regional division.

The items will be shipped to the police Regional Division 2 (Essequibo)

Asked about the reason for making the donation only available to Region 2, Supreme Distributors related that the store has an outlet in that region and handing over the supplies to be used in that region is considered to them as directly giving back to the community that supports their operation.

It was also noted that consideration  was given to the soon to be commissioned new modern police Regional Headquarters and station at Anna Regina.
