Police have again released Cerrano Arokium and Deo Narris who they consider to be suspects in the murders of Melissa Arokiom and her seven year old son Anthony.

The men were released at around 10.00 p.m. on Wednesday night.

They had been been in custody with charges for 72 hours.

The mother and son were hacked to death in their Rose Hall, Berbice home.

Cerrano Arokium, the slain woman’s elder brother, and Narris, a neighbour, as well as Ms. Arokium’s boyfriend, were detained shortly after the bodies were found.
