Scores of Agricola residents rallied behind Minister within the Ministry of Public Works Deodat Indar, on his visit to the community yesterday.

The purpose of the Minister’s visit was to conduct an inspection of the community’s drainage systems, roads and alleyways as part of the PPP/C Government’s efforts to raise the quality of living for its residents.

The drainage projects that are slated for Agricola stem from an outreach led by President Dr. Mohamed Irfaan Ali last February where the Head of State encouraged the residents to partner with the administration to upgrade the community.

Residents had signaled their interest to be employed on the projects as many major rehabilitation works are on the cards for Agricola
