Susan Rodrigues, Minister within the Ministry of Housing and Water, oversaw a site visit to the Fitz Hope area of Linden, Region Ten, accompanied by Mr. Jamal Brotherson, an engineer from the Central Housing and Planning Authority, and other technical staff.

Infrastructure enhancements, particularly the construction of road networks, were inspected to improve accessibility to the scheme for allottees, aligning with the Ministry’s goal of fostering sustainable communities.

In addition, the first 167 individuals who had been squatting at Amelia’s Ward-Phase 4 in Linden, Region Ten, are currently registering for their Certificates of Title at the Linden Foundation Secondary School.

Minister Susan Rodrigues, alongside Mr. Gladwin Charles, Director of Community Development at the Central Housing and Planning Authority, is spearheading this effort, fulfilling a commitment made during her earlier visit to the area in early 2021.

Regional Officials, including Mr. Deron Adams, Regional Chairman, Mr. Dwight John, Regional Executive Officer, and Mr. Jermaine Figueira, Member of Parliament, are also present at the event.
