Milerock FC should seek improvement through the Transfer Window

By Jafar Gibbons
Linden has always prided itself as a predominantly football-playing community, and rightly so. Its premier Football Club, Top XX FC has enjoyed local success historically, winning the most of the country’s flagship ‘year-end’ football tournament.
But a lot has changed in recent history in the sport. The community is currently represented by Milerock FC in the country most senior football league, the Elite League. The Linden side is a minus 15 in goals, failing to score in all 3 of their matches and are currently averaging 5 conceded goals per match. This is atrocious as any football can get. But they can turn this around.
The local transfer window opened on June 1, and I think it wise for the administration of the club to seek assistance in improving their roster by adding some of the town’s brightest talents. The Club currently, in my humble estimation, does not belong in the Nation’s highest football league, or are not equipped to deal with the adversities that may present itself in such a league, or both.
Being the only represented Linden team of the tournament, and with little to none football being played by the other teams, Milerock should approach these clubs before the night’s end of reading this.
The community football prestige is taking a hit every time Milerock steps out on a football field. Milerock is a direct reflection of a falling administration (UDFA) to consistently keep teams engaged through organized matches, and when you add that the government uprooted the only playable facility in the community, the MSC, reducing competition to non-existent, this is what you get as a result.
Other teams of the community should want to see Milerock do well, and as such, should not find issue with my proposal here.
