‘Junkie’ sits through gunfire in attempted robbery

A ‘Junkie’ tonight sat through a shootout between a suspected bandit and his intended victim on Hadfield Street between Camp and John Streets, Georgetown.

BIG Smith News Watch learnt that during the ordeal, the suspected bandit came under return fire from his intended target which came as a surprise to him.

As a consequence, the suspected bandit dropped his .32 Pistol and fled the scene.

Police who responded to the emergency call, retrieved the weapon left behind by his attacher.

Throughout the ordeal, a man who was identified as a ‘Junkie’ remain in his position on along the side of the road on the pavement.

The police are continuing their investigations into the matter.
