Home Affairs Ministry gets new Permanent Secretary

BREAKING: New Permanent Secretary for Home Affairs Ministry

INCOMING PS: Mae Thomas

Mae Thomas has been identified as the new Permanent Secretary of the Ministry of Home Affairs a reliable source has confirmed to BIG Smith News Watch.

Thomas who was a candidate for the Peoples Progressive Party Civic in the March 02, 2020 Elections will be taking over the post from Danielle McCalmon.

Ms. McCalmon has been functioning in the capacity of Permanent Secretary since the death of former Permanent Secretary Angela Johnson who served the ministry for years before her death a few years ago.

The Office of the President is expected to issue an official statement on the appointment of Ms. Thomas as the new PS for the Ministry.

It is unclear if McCalmon has been reassigned to another Ministry of will be working under the new PS.
