Government assures support to family of drowned siblings

Minister of Health, Dr. Frank Anthony, along with other government officials, today visited the home of nine-year-old Tiana DeCourt’e and ten-year-old Jaden DeCourt’e, whose young lives were tragically cut short by drowning earlier today at Enterprise, East Coast Demerara.
The atmosphere was heavy with grief as the Minister extended condolences on behalf of President Dr. Irfaan Ali and the Government of Guyana, offering heartfelt sympathies to the devastated family now left to mourn an unimaginable loss.
In quiet words of comfort, the Minister assured the relatives that the Government stands with them in this darkest hour, pledging full support and assistance as they struggle to come to terms with the heartbreaking passing of the two children.
