Clarendon dominates St. Ignatius In KFC goodwill Tournament.

The KFC Goodwill Tournament saw the continuation of Jamaican dominance on Guyanese soil as Clarendon College showcased their hot form with a convincing 3-1 victory over St. Ignatius Secondary School yesterday.

 

The Jamaican unit, led by standout performances from Nicholy Forbes, Dameon Simms, and Ronaldo Williams, asserted their dominance from the opening minutes of the match.

 

From the kickoff, Clarendon College demonstrated why they are considered a force to be reckoned with in this tournament.

 

The Jamaican team wasted no time in taking control of the game, displaying exceptional skill, coordination, and a clinical finishing touchย  at the Ministry of Education Ground, on Carifesta Avenue Georgetown yesterday.

 

Simms made an impact on the match, breaking the deadlock and putting Clarendon College ahead with a well-executed goal.

 

Forbes showcased his goal-scoring prowess and set the tone for what would become a dominant performance by the Jamaican side.

 

 

As the match progressed, Clarendon College continued to apply pressure on St. Ignatius Secondary School.

 

Williams and Forbes added to the scoreline, capitalizing on opportunities and showcasing the depth of talent within the Jamaican squad.

 

The duo’s contributions highlighted the team’s versatility and ability to create scoring opportunities from various positions on the field.

 

Despite facing a formidable opponent, St. Ignatius Secondary School displayed commendable resilience and team spirit.

Stephon Sprosta managed to find the back of the net, providing a glimmer of hope for the home team.
