BREAKING: Soldiers serious injured in explosion at army base

BIG Smith News Wath has received information from credible police and army sources that at least three Guyana Defense Force Ranks have been injured in an explosion at Base Camp Stephenson, located at Timehri.

According to what we are being told, the soldiers were in the process of defusing a number of bombs when the explosion occurred. This story is developing.

Back in February, a number of soldiers were injured with at least one being killed while offloading explosives from a truck at the GDF Coast Guard Base at Ruimveldt.
