Local Churche’s Chicken Franchise sold to US Company

The main Church’s Chicken location at Camp and Middle Streets in Georgetown

Local businessman Terrence Campbell has sold the Church’s Chicken Franchise, multiple sources have confirmed, even as Campbell himself would not directly confirm or deny the sale or its details.
BIG Smith News Watch has been informed that talks in relation to the sale of the franchise started about a year ago but back then, Campbell again did not speak on the matter.
Representatives from Small Enterprise Assistance Funds (SEAF) out of Washington DC, United States, are presently in Guyana, and have been making visits to a number of business locations for which Terrence Campbell holds franchises.
SEAF is an International Investment Management Group that provides growth, capital and business assistance to small and medium enterprises.
This publication has been told that in addition to the representatives from SEAF, there are a number of individuals, locally, who are actively involved in the discussions at the round table, over the change of command within the franchise operation, which suggests that there might also be a local investor who bought part of the Campbell operations.
Last week, BIG Smith News Watch reached out to Terrence Campbell for a comment on the sale of the franchise, and he promised to speak with this publication on Monday, but when we attempted to contact him, those calls went unanswered, Calls again went unanswered today (Tuesday) to Campbell’s mobile phone.
We subsequently contacted another local player within the operations, who requested that we send our questions via email. That was done but up to press time, there was no reply to our questions.
On Saturday, the new owners of the Church’s franchise requested a one hundred percent inventory of the stock, staff, removable and irremovable assets.
It is unclear at this time if in addition to the Church’s franchise, Dairy Queen. Quiznos Subs, Mario Pizza, Pollo Tropical and FedEx, all of which are owned by Terrence Campbell, have also been sold.
