Police Sergeant dies after sudden collapse

A 51-year-old Police Sergeant attached to the Guyana Police Force’s Special Constabulary died on Friday morning after collapsing at a residence in Diamond Housing Scheme, East Bank Demerara.
The deceased has been identified as Stacy Noble.
According to reports, Noble suddenly collapsed at about 6:15 a.m. while at the residence. Emergency Medical Technicians responded and administered cardiopulmonary resuscitation (CPR), but their efforts were unsuccessful. She was pronounced dead by a doctor.
Her body was later taken to the Memorial Gardens Funeral Home, where it is awaiting a post-mortem examination to determine the exact cause of death.
Authorities said no marks of violence were observed on the body, and there is currently no indication of foul play. An investigation remains ongoing.
