CCWU issues public call for persons to contact Georgetown office

The Clerical and Commercial Workers Union (CCWU) is calling on more than 60 members to urgently make contact with the union’s office at 140 Quamina Street, Georgetown.
In a public notice issued this week, the union requested that the listed individuals reach out as soon as possible by visiting the office or calling telephone numbers 227-0611 or 642-8971.
The members were previously employed at several public and private sector entities, including the Courts, National Communications Network (NCN), Guyana Oil Company (Guyoil), Cheddi Jagan International Airport (CJIA), Bank of Guyana (BOG), Guyana Geology and Mines Commission (GGMC), Food for the Poor, Guyana National Newspapers Limited (GNNL), Office of the President, and the Guyana Telephone and Telegraph Company (GTT), among others.
The union did not disclose the specific reason for the request but urged the named members to respond promptly to avoid any potential inconvenience.
