JOC Focuses Meeting on Strengthening Public Safety
November 19 2024— The Joint Operations Centre (JOC) convened today for a strategic meeting chaired by the Chief of Defence Staff of the Guyana Defence Force. Senior officers from the Guyana Police Force, Guyana Prison Service, and Guyana Fire Service participated in the high-level discussions, which were held in the Lloyd Barker Hall at the Police Officers’ Mess, Eve Leary.
The meeting addressed critical matters pertaining to national security and coordinated efforts to strengthen public safety across the country.
Participants discussed ongoing strategies to enhance inter-agency collaboration, improve emergency response capabilities, and address pressing security challenges facing the nation.
